We Don’t Die. We Just Change Addresses

I was just about to read the blog post of Bro. Bo Sanchez this morning entitled “How To Start Living In Heaven Now” when I saw an email notification from kumare and former colleague Claire with the subject “Ruth”.

Ruth is a good friend and a former colleague as well in a Japanese company I used to work for. Both Claire and Ruth worked as Accounting professionals under me.

Claire’s email message was straightforward. Ruth succumbed to a 4th stage ovarian cancer.
I remember sending Ruth a Christmas email early December 2012 but did not get a return email greeting. I assumed she just filed a month long leave of absence as she used to do. Continue reading We Don’t Die. We Just Change Addresses

Pretend To Be Rich?

To cap off my Christmas blog posts series, I thought it would be apt to write something about how some people try to win friendship with the rich by trying hard to be like them.

In my opinion, there’s nothing wrong with that. In fact, that’s even healthy. Some life and finance coaches even recommend brushing elbows with the wealthy (financially, spiritually, relationally). Don’t Lose These Numbers in 2013

Instead of following the tradition of posting the top blog posts of the year, I decided to write a shorty of my personal memoir, a glimpse of what transpired in my life in 2012.

So no top 10’s, top 20’s, etc. Only the top Bible verses (numbers of chapter/verses) to guide us in 2013. Don’t lose these Bible numbers

The beginning of 2012 was not as good as I wanted it to be.
