The main culprit to delaying achievement of your financial goals is your spending habits. Based on our independent survey of married OFW’s whose salaries range from equivalent to P50,000 to P150,000 believe they don’t have enough most of the time. This shows that even if someone earns a lot (relatively speaking) they can still feel insecurity with regards to their financial status.

Meanwhile, we also surveyed some Filipinos based in the Philippines (married also) who earn P50,000 or less and believe that they have more than enough from what they earn.

Nang Magising si Juan – A New Edutainment TV Show!

We have been very blessed with a number of organized learning events and seminars plus a handful of invitations from respectable institutions this second quarter of the year. One of the events that we were invited to attend is the launching of the new Filipino education-entertainment TV show Nang Magising Si Juan to be aired on GMANewsTV.

The objectives of the TV show are to:

  • Engage – Educate – Inspire Filipinos to be wealthy
  • Relay the message “Money is easy to handle.”
  • Make accessible practical advice from financial experts

Tackling common money issues every Filipino can relate to, this edutainment show not only teaches practical and doable financial management, but also promotes positive values and to correct wrong mindsets in and beyond the topic of money. The Cashflow Game Series (Dubai) is Back!

After a successful Cashflow Game event in November 2013, our OFW UsapangPiso Dubai group is bringing back the Rat Race game to our OFW’s on May 9, 2014 at the same venue but with much fun and more giveaways!

Cashflow is an educational tool in board game format designed by Robert Kiyosaki (author of Rich Dad, Poor Dad), which aims to teach the players concepts of investing by having their money work for them in a risk free setting (play money) while simultaneously increasing their financial literacy and stressing the imperative nature of accountability.
