Financial Intelligence Training (FIT) for our Air Force Troops

They have been serving the country by protecting our skies from possible intruders. They have been lifting donations and goods to survivors of calamity-stricken cities and towns all over the Philippines.

In times of war, these heroes endure the pain and losing blood to fight for our freedom that all of us are enjoying today. But aside from the bloody wars and natural calamities there is another struggle that keeps on hurting most of our heroes: financial calamities.

According to our friend and Air Force pilot Badong Dee, one out of three soldiers (33%) in the Philippine Air Force (PAF) have negative net worth. Around 87% of these troops have bad debts and loans from various SLAI’s (Savings and Loans Association Inc). A lot of them find it hard to save money and only a few knows how to grow their money for their families’ future.

Time to pay back for their heroic deeds and their undying love for country and fellowmen. On April 26, 2014, Angat Pilipinas Coalition for Financial Literacy in cooperation with OFW UsapangPiso forum, will unfold their wings and soar high to reach out to our Air Force troops through our financial literacy workshop series.

FIT

If you have loved ones and friends who are in the active and reservist units of the Philippine Air Force, please do invite them to attend this free seminar/workshop. Email us at admin@pinoymundobiz.org or get in touch with pilot Badong Dee through his blog The Investing Soldier for them to register.

This will be the first but definitely not the last. We will continue to help our soldiers get back to their feet and become what they should be: Financial Freedom Fighters!
