What’s Your Christmas Prayer?

You hear it every Christmas. Jesus is the real reason for Christmas. And that Jesus is Christmas.

We know that it’s the day meant to celebrate new life, to celebrate the birthday of the Messiah, the Emmanuel.

And yet, nobody even bothered to give the baby Jesus even the simplest gifts a new-born baby should need on a cold winter night, except for the wisemen from the East. And the little drummer boy.

I truly admire the fatherly sacrifice of Joseph and the selfless surrender of Mary to the will of the Holy Spirit to give love and care to the baby Jesus.

But what do we really know about Jesus? What do we remember about His deeds? Is He just a seasonal thing in your life?

What do you pray for Christmas?

Let us pray and give thanks for all the blessings that we received. And that prayer will be more meaningful if we share to others whatever blessings we have.

Let us pray for forgiveness. Forgive, and ask to be forgiven. Love, and live life full of love. Nothing else.

Let us rejoice in the joy of the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ!

I hope it’s not too late to pray and greet our Saviour, a very happy birthday!

And merry Christmas to all of you!
