Practical Finance & Investing for OFW’s in Bahrain

Starting our Gulf region’s financial literacy program for OFW’s in Saudi Arabia has been very exciting, fulfilling, and yes, a bit dangerous. If you are not yet aware, conducting assemblies in non-official venues may cause an organization or group to be apprehended by authorities.

Good thing we’re doing our small learning sessions in family flats and Philippine international schools that are licensed venues for learning by the Philippine Embassy and the Saudi education ministry.

To continue our journey of educating our kababayans in the Middle East on matters related to managing finances, we will be conducting a seminar in the very small island state yet very rich Kingdom of Bahrain.

OFW UsapangPiso’s “Practical Finance & Investing for OFWs” Seminar

The OFW UsapangPiso Forum presents Practical Finance & Investing for OFW’s for Filipinos based in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

This workshop will take place on June 20, 2014, Friday, at 2PM at the Bahrain Society of Engineers, Al Shabab Avenue, Manama, Bahrain.

Learning fee is only BD5 only inclusive of snacks and handouts.

PRACTICAL FINANCE

The seminar will feature Burn Gutierrez to discuss about the basics of money management and setting of financial goals of parents.

Noel Arasula will share about the importance of money, responsible stewardship of resources, and money behavior in the Christian family life.

Roland Gallarde will impart his experience on how he started investing in the Philippine stock market, retail bonds, and mutual funds while in Saudi Arabia.

We will also assist participants in opening their accounts in the stock market, UITF, or mutual fund, free of charge.

    Hi Sir,
Just saw your website now and I’m a too late to attend the seminars that happened here in Bahrain without my knowledge. I want to know if you are going to hold another seminar and when will it be?
I hope you keep us posted earlier/ahead of time before the event.
