“Thou Shalt Not Be Poor” – The 11th Commandment

Ms. Rosalind Wee of Marine Resources Development Corp. was the one who coined that 11th Commandment tagline, FYI. 🙂

It’s the first phrase that you will read upon opening the first pages of the new book of Bro. Bo Sanchez and Dean Pax Lapid called “How To Turn Your Passion Into Profit – 8 Keys to Build a Truly Rich Business”.

This morning, our office Admin boys entered my room and handed me this dark brown/black box which I first thought was a box of chocolates. I was hallucinating and famished so please forgive me.

But no, it wasn’t a box a chocolates. It’s way, way better than that. They’re books, video CD’s, newsletters, and all as parts of the Diamond EntrepCircle‘s Success Starter Kit. And I couldn’t believe these books and CD’s made their way into the land of oil and sheiks!

Thank you, Dean Pax and Bro. Bo for all these gems!

As my gesture of gratitude for these wonderful gifts from the EntrepCircle masters, I’m gonna share snippets and excerpts from the two books “How To Turn Your Passion Into Profit” by Dean Pax Lapid and Bo Sanchez, and GoNegosyo’s “21 Steps on How to Start Your Own Business” with Dean Pax again and Mr. Ping Sotto so that you will see how great these books are and that you should get copies of these soon from your favorite bookstores.

How To Turn Your Passion Into Profit

Success is very much achievable, but one has to badly want it first. One has to be ready to sacrifice, work hard, and overcome problems. One has to discover the essence behind his drive to succeed. Most of all, one has to accept and learn from wise pieces of advice from people who “walk the talk”.” – Joey Concepcion’s Foreword

“Read carefully: Unless you become rich, you can’t teach others to become rich. It’s that simple.” – Bo Sanchez

“If you’re lazy to start a business, I cannot help you because a Truly Rich business is you and a Truly Rich business is up to you!” – Dean Pax Lapid

“When people tell me they don’t know their passion, usually it’s because they’ve lived too long in their comfort zone. They haven’t experimented enough, risked enough, attempted enough. So I advise them, “Live in your courage zone!”” – Bo Sanchez

“People say that being lucky means ‘being at the right place at the right time.’ I believe that being lucky is ‘doing the right action at the right time with your right talents'”. – Dean Pax Lapid

“You need to make a commitment to never-ending growth if you are serious in growing your wealth.” – Bo Sanchez

GoNegosyo’s “21 Steps on How To Start Your Own Business”
by Dean Pax Lapid and Ping Sotto

“Laziness is something where we can not teach the solutions. If you are still Juan Tamad, no book can change that. It all begins ONLY with YOURSELF – but only if you want to.”

“Surround yourself with positive and believing people. Choose your friends right. Stay away from the company of people who waste time thinking how things can not be done. Stay in the company of  people whose motto is: Di pwedeng ‘di pwede! (NO to cannot!).

“Choose the areas in your life or your career that you would like to change (you can choose any except your spouse). Start with the areas that are relatively easy to change, then graduate to more challenging ones when you have gained confidence in effecting changes.”

The right attitude to live by… No book can change anyone . It all begins if we want it.. Change the old value of Juan Tamad.

I’ve heard there’s already 11th commandment, seriously. “This is my commandment, that ye love one another even as I have loved you.”
