In a way, if you buy shares of a good company, you are indeed buying a portion of it. You become a part owner.

Mind you, Warren Buffet is not the type of investor who buys stocks on a whim. He looks at certain factors when picking stocks for long term investment. Continue reading 5 Qualities You Should Look For In A Good Stock Investment

10 Mistakes Pinoys do before a personal loan application_Masthead

Personal loans are an easy sell for most Pinoys. They have flexible payment options, easy application requirements, and are readily available from banks. Most Pinoys use personal loans to start a business, fund their dream wedding, travel abroad, and start their home remodeling projects. 4-hour a Day Business. Php 46M in Sales

I’m not sure if you’ve heard of Jon Orana. He was featured on several newspaper, TV and radio shows recently.

He’s been running an online business all from home with just a computer and Internet connection.

Part time. 4 hours a day.

No full-time employees. No office.

Best of all, he doesn’t have to meet nor talk to any of his customers. So, this is not MLM or networking that you need to recruit your relatives and friends.

And as of this writing, he has sold over $1 Million (about Php 46 M in pesos) of my own products online. Laking pera ano? Continue reading 4-hour a Day Business. Php 46M in Sales

Will You Establish a Sole Proprietorship, Partnership, or Corporation?

Deciding whether to register and run a business as a sole prorietorship, a partnership or a corporation is one of the most important things to consider. This is because failure to recognize and decide which form of organization to establish can cause problems to a business in the long run. But even if this is a fact that any entrepreneur knows, still a lot of people are confused which type of business is best for their company.

In many cases, business owners will just tap a “smart” friend or an accountant colleague in making this kind of decision. However, getting the right information from the right people is crucial to this decision.

On our next Enter Entrepreneurship webinar, our friend Atty. Energyte Baldonado will help you understand how these three types of business are being operated, its legal and tax implications, how profits are divided and distributed, the expenses and cost of registering, among many other helpful topics.

You may click the banner below or click here to sign up for this online seminar happening on February 27, 2016 at 2PM. The online seminar fee is only PHP500!

Kain Sa Labas Or Bring Your Baon At Work? (INFOGRAPHIC)

In the Philippines, many workers are torn between cooking or bringing food to work and dining out in fastfood chains or carinderia. It’s part of every day decision-making of many working Filipinos, humurously-speaking.

Some say it’s cheaper dining out. Some say it’s more sosyal kaining (eating) sa labas.

But some say cooking food and bringing baon is safer and more nutritious, and way even cheaper.

Whatever you decide, it’s your life anyway. Personally, I am no longer a corporate slave but we still bring our home-cooked food as much as possible.

Here’s an infographic from Blue Apron and Learnvest which shows the personal and financial benefits of cooking at home, along with some smart and healthy ways to play chef in your own kitchen again. This is in American setting but I’m pretty you will still learn in one way or another from this.
