Angat Pilipinas Coalition is a global non-profit organization of active and former Overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) and personal finance advocates who have bonded together as a support group to address issues, discuss concerns, and share knowledge with OFWs on entrepreneurship, investment, and financial literacy in order to contribute to poverty alleviation and improve the quality of life in the Philippines.

It also aims to share an interest in advancing financial literacy among Filipino youth and students. It is committed to bring financial education to schools and public learning institutions in the Philippines.

VISION STATEMENT

Angat Pilipinas Coalition for Financial Literacy envisions a nation by the year 2020 where 10,000 former OFWs and dependents are financially-independent, entrepreneurial, and investing in the Philippine capital market.

By 2050, being an OFW comes as a choice rather than a need.

It also envisions a nation where the youth and students are grounded on the basics of personal finance and are advocates of saving and investing for their future.

By 2020, personal finance subjects are included in the curricula and programs of all Philippine public and private schools as well as other learning institutions for out-of-school youth.

MISSION STATEMENT

Its mission is to provide affordable and accessible information on how to save and invest their money wisely through education and workshops, interactive online forum, social media, life-coaching, and by bridging resources from other organizations to active and former OFWs and their families.

It also aims to improve the financial literacy programs of the Filipino students and youth by providing advocacy, research, standards and educational resources. It strives to prepare the Filipino youth to become successful financial decision makers.

It also aims to serve the best interest of its members and other stakeholders, and participate to the achievement of the nation’s economic objectives.

P.S. 1.  Three years ago, I joined the TrulyRichClub. It was one of the best decisions of my life. Founded by Bo Sanchez, its purpose is to “help good people become rich”. Because of the guidance I get from the Club, I’m now investing in the Stock Market (and mutual funds, bonds, UITF’s) each month! It’s amazing how I’m personally growing in my finances. I’m inviting you to join the Club too. If you’re interested, then join the TrulyRichClub NOW! And email me at burngutierrezblog@yahoo.com.ph if you have any questions.

P.S. 2. Learn How To Earn Through Larry Gamboa’s Real Estate System. Real Estate Mentor Larry Gamboa is giving a Seminar on February 9, 2013 on how he buys foreclosed properties or properties from “motivated sellers” and turn them around into rental properties or quick sales. If you’re interested to learn his system, click here now!
